It is time for REAL & LASTING change

Currently it is ok to pay for a congresspersons vote through a process called lobbying. That ensures that only the will and the voice of those with the most money will be heard and acted upon. Corporations have the most leveraging power and their best interests are not always the best interest of the people. Most times in fact, a corporations best interest to return the highest profits is actually in conflict with what is best for our country. Still, laws can be passed which harm our workers rights, destroy the environment, or make products less safe because corporations pay for the congress peoples votes on such laws to pass. Even if we change a broken system for the better, and allow the current form of lobbying to be a part of that system, the system will become broken again!
